Pastor
Craig Pendl has served in ministry
since 1974. Upon completion
of undergraduate work at Bob Jones
University, South Carolina, he has
served as both a youth pastor and
senior pastor in various ministries.
Pastor Pendl has served at Church
of the Open Door since May,
2004. He is a
certified counselor by the National
Association of Nouthetic
Counselors (NANC), and
does a great deal of biblical
counseling
in his ministry.
Pastor
Pendl is married to Sandy, who
is homemaker,
church secretary, and pianist.
They have three children.

Joel S. Pendl
Pastor Joel serves as youth pastor
of the Church of the Open Door. He
recently graduated from Liberty University.
He has served at Open Door since June,
2005. He and his wife, Cindy, serve
together in the ministry.
Church
of the Open Door
The
Church of the Open Door was organized
on November 7, 1920. There have
been several pastors and ministries
associated with the church. The
past ministries include the Greensburg
Bible Institute, a Ladies’ Missionary
Fellowship, a deaf ministry,
telephone ministry, radio ministry,
and Open Door Christian Academy.
Originally the church was located
in downtown Greensburg, but is
now located north of town on
approximately seven acres of
land. The facility includes an
auditorium which seats 400 and
a Family Life Center. The church
is an independent, fundamental
Bible church that is Baptistic
in nature.
